Local & National TV Personalities Conduct Interactive Sessions for Evoluer House Girls

Our teenage girls had the experience of a lifetime when faces from the small screen made guest appearances to the program this summer. “Project Runway” designer Kristin Haskins Simms conducted an interactive "Dressing for Success" session where each girl individually learned the do’s-and-don’ts of choosing work appropriate clothing.

In two separate sessions, PHL 17 "Eye Opener" reporter Ashley Johnson provided public speaking advice and resume writing tips. Ashley’s hands-on guidance reviewed the kinds of questions potential employers ask and how to format and write a resume to get your foot in the door. The girls were enthusiastic participants in all of the sessions and learned winning job application techniques to become top contenders in a competitive job market.
